Components used for protection against negative imapact of electromagnetic and/or radio frequency interference
Filters which protect against EMI/RFI (electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference). Such filters allow for a particular band of signals and frequencies to pass, while concurrently blocking out unwanted emissions. These usually have inductive elements in series, as well as capacitive elements in parallel, forming a low impedance path for keeping noise away from the circuit.
